Course Overview:
The course starts with a presentation of the optical network and its components; it then describes the legacy solutions and their limitations. The OTN related protocols and hierarchy are presented, along with the advanced draft proposals . We conclude with the description of how different types of signals are carried over OTN.

Who should attend?
The seminar is built for Technical, Marketing and Business Development people of Telecom Service Providers as well as Manufacturers of OTN equipment.

Prerequisities:
Basic knowledge of telecommunications and SONET/SDH is expected from the participants.
