Course Overview
This seminar reviews the two codecs which will dominate the video coding scene in the next years: HEVC/H.265 and VP9. The lecture will provide an overview of the two codecs, the industry position, the stream syntax as well as coding and testing tools
Who should attend?
Engineers, team leaders, development managers, product managers who wish to understand future codecs and coding requirementsPrerequisite:
Understanding of coding techniques like DCT and entropy coding
