Alex Umansky

Worldwide leading PCI Express expert, active participant and contributor to PCI-SIG, CCIX and CXL consortiums. Co-author of PCI Express and CCIX specification, Member Founding Board of Directors CXL.

Mr. Umansky serves as Logtel’s senior lecturer on PCI Express Gen1 to Gen5 for leading companies in Israel. Alex served as Chief Architect, IO Interconnect, developing leading-edge solution for Data Center Compute , Storage and AI platforms .

Before that developing SmartNIC , Multicore SoC for QoS purposes and Switch Fabric. Alex has previously served as Senior HW Architect at LucidLogix – multi-GPU SoC solution provider, based on enhanced PCI Express Switch. During his employment in IBM, he worked on the development of several PCIe IP cores and Infiniband products.

Alex earned an B.A. degree in Physics from Technion.
